2ND INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON NANOCELLULOSE AND ITS POLYMER COMPOSITES

After the success of the former edition, which had been shorter but that had established a connection between the Brazilian
nanocellulose community, the 2nd edition was expanded to two days and received abstract submissions and presentations by
students.

It was held on August 14-15, 2017 at the ETC Center of the Sorocaba campus of UFSCar, chaired by Prof. Aparecido J. Menezes
(UFSCar-So) and co-hosted by Prof. Alessandra A. Lucas and Prof. Luiz A. Pessan (DEMa/UFSCar). As in the 1st edition, Prof. Alain
Dufresne was the international guest speaker. The event was attended by 100 participants, including the speakers listed below:
